We have been raising German Shepherds for over 18 years and my husband is a certified dog trainer who has been actively teaching obedience training for all breeds of dogs for the past 25 years (recently retired). We breed for not only great looks, but also for a superior temperament as well. We occasionally have pups available. All of our breeding dogs have been OFA'd hips and elbows and DM tested. All pups are AKC registered**, vet checked, have their first shots, preventative wormings and are microchipped with a lifetime registration in the AKC Reunite Program. They also come with a puppy starter kit and a health & hip guarantee. Our adult dogs, as well as our puppies, are raised on a premium natural dry dog food containing minimal grains and additives. A minimum amount of fillers in a food is essential as a healthy dog starts with good nutrition! Our dogs are not kennel dogs, they are our family pets and live in our home with us. All our pups are raised underfoot in our home and are socialized with adults, children and other dogs from day one, so you can be sure that your puppy comes to you as a happy, healthy, well-rounded new addition to your family!
**All of our puppies are initially sold on a limited registration with AKC. We limit the registration on our puppies to ensure that no puppy from us is bred before the necessary health certifications are done and before they are of a suitable breeding age. Once health certifications are done and the puppy has reached a minimum of 2 years of age, we will discuss lifting the limited registration and providing full breeding rights to the owner for an additional fee. We firmly believe that no Shepherd should ever be bred before they have had breed specific health certifications done and have reached a suitable breeding age. Our goal as breeders is to better the health of the German Shepherd as a whole, and to not add to the devastatingly debilitating diseases that affect our amazing breed.
